Six BMS employees will participate in the 10th edition of the C2C4C cycle race

11/05/25

The 10th edition of the Country 2 Country 4 Cancer (C2C4C) cycle race is in full swing, and once again Bristol Myers Squibb employees from Belgium and the Netherlands are taking part.

This year, six employees from Belgium and the Netherlands will take on the challenge and contribute to this joint effort: Virginie Tytgadt, Frederik Bogaert, Alex Romano, Marion Oudshoorn, Monique Melis and Jeroen Baghus.

A shared commitment across borders

The C2C4C bike ride is a charity initiative that raises awareness and funds for cancer research and for the European cancer organisations that are part of the C2C4C network. In a relay race, BMS employees from across Europe will cycle through Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain and the United Kingdom — with each team riding as part of a joint commitment to the cause.

Kick-off in Braine-l’Alleud

A few weeks ago, they started their adventure with a safety clinic in Braine-l’Alleud. During this session, participants were introduced to the principles of road cycling, road safety measures, proper equipment use and maintenance, and practical tips for travelling with a bike. The clinic built confidence and skills and strengthened the team spirit, which is essential for the months of training ahead.

Making every mile count

At Bristol Myers Squibb, we’re proud to participate in initiatives like C2C4C, which embody our commitment to cancer research and treatment. They reflect our mission to bring hope, raise awareness, and support those affected by cancer.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months as the team continues its preparations for this milestone edition of the C2C4C cycle race.
